I bought a Creative Playthings swingset based on the notion that they built "quality" products. After 4 months of using it I noticed the stain was already worn off on all the edges of the stairs of both the ladder and the rock wall. A year later, I noticed the bars that hold the bench seat onto the picnic table has rusted because the coating had cracked off and water must have leaked into it. I will probably end up taking the seat off because I don't want my kids to scratch their legs on the chipped coating that is now rusted!! Also, having the rope swings instead of the chains was not a great idea. I didn't think it would be a big deal, but I have already had to raise the swing up, but because I have run out of chain I have had to tie knots in the rope in order to raise the swing up. Not a huge deal but for the amount of money spent you would think they could at least give you all chain swings!Overall, the swing is only a year old and already looks aged and my daughter has already outgrown the length of swings unless I tie additional knots into the rope!My kids do enjoy the set and don't notice those things, but when your paying [$] those things do matter!
